WP1
Stakeholder engagement
Objective
Instigate and manage a robust multi-stakeholder engagement program, that provides an effective platform for discussions, consultation and knowledge sharing within and outside the consortium. Operating at multiple scales, its engagement activities, in concert with dissemination and communication activities (WP5), will:
Support the achievement of project objectives (Obj.1,4,5,6) by enabling interactions and gaining input from stakeholders at regional (6 case studies) and EU level (Multi-Stakeholder Forum), bridging the gaps between these levels, as well as across regulatory arenas.
Empower participants to guide project outputs (e.g. gaining common understandings, determining unified protection goals, beneficial ERA methods, tools and mitigation measures etc.) that promote the consolidation, advancement and harmonisation of risk assessment methodologies and tools for terrestrial chemical management.
Establish stakeholder coalitions willing to pursue transformative changes, enabling integration of different knowledge systems, acknowledge diverse values and support learning and diffusion of knowledge. The objectives will be achieved in concert with other ongoing adjacent activities and projects as clearly described in the communication WP (WP5).
