The 1st International Conference on Wildlife Ecotoxicology will take place from 13–15 January 2027 at the University of Murcia, Spain.
Objectives
The conference aims to establish a leading forum for a dedicated scientific community for discussion about the effects of chemical pollutants on wild vertebrates. It covers 5 major groups of vertebrates (amphibians, fish, reptiles, birds and mammals), reflecting its ambition to provide a comprehensive overview of how pollution affects biodiversity as a whole.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the impacts of heavy metals, microplastics, and pesticides on the survival and reproductive health of these groups, addressing issues that currently pose a severe global threat.
The event is chaired by Pilar Gómez-Ramírez and Pablo Sanchez Virosta (University of Murcia) and supported by a diverse international organizing committee. Our project member, Ana López from CSIC, is serving as one of the event organisers.
