The XXVII Spanish Congress of Ornithology and VIII Iberian Ornithological Congress will be held from September 2 to 6, 2026 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Granada.

This event is designed to expose the main advances in scientific research on birdlife, and its application to conservation projects and campaigns. This year also coincides with the celebration of the VIII Iberian Ornithological Congress. 

For 5 days, an interesting program of conferences, meetings and activities will be developed that, following the guidelines of the SEO/BirdLife Scientific Committee, includes plenary sessions by prestigious national and international researchers, oral communications, and posters.
